For the last 25 years there has been one band that has been part of each and every one of our childhood. That band is U2. Growing up as a top 40 pop queen in my teen years, the one band that I loved hearing was U2. As time went on and all the boy bands began to disappear the only one that kept on releasing music was U2.

Bono and his band mates continued to release music on a consistent basis and with that the albums were always a top seller. This was a great reason for me to continue to listen and hear their awesome tunes.

My favorite albums that they released were The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby, which incorporated a new sound for them. Achtung Baby was their seventh album and is one of U2′s most successful records. It earned favourable reviews and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Top Albums, while topping the charts in several other countries. It spawned five hit singles, including “One”, “Mysterious Ways”, and “The Fly”. The album who has sold 18 million copies worldwide and won a Grammy Award in 1993 for optimum Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. One of the most acclaimed records with the 1990s, Achtung Baby is regularly featured on lists of the most useful albums of all time.

In November 2011, the record will be reissued to mark the 20th anniversary of its original release with multiple packages being offered for purchase.

I have already pre-ordered my Achtung Baby Uber Deluxe Package (shopped around and got the best deal) and can’t wait to get it when released in November.
