Gingerbread hanging ornament

Materials

brown felt white black and red sewing thread 5 seed beads for buttons 1 x 4mm red bead fiberfill (gingerbread man stuff) sewing needle scissors cookie cutter (as template) white 4 mm wide satin ribbon for hanging

Procedure: 1. Just place the cookie cutter onto the brown felt and trace two times around the template.

2. Cut out the two gingerbread man shapes and place one over the other with the right sides facing (the sides that has no tracing lines). Trim a length of ribbon and insert the two open ends inside at the top of the head and pin into place.

3. Make a blanket stitch around the gingerbread man with doubled white sewing thread. Make sure you stuff lightly before closing.

4. Use the black sewing thread and sew on the five seed beads. Two beads are needed for the eyes while the three beads as buttons.

5.Just use the red sewing thread when doing the nose part.

This gingerbread hanging ornament is an easy to make free Christmas crafts that takes less than an hour to do. Let the young ones hang this on the Christmas tree and encourage them to create their own free Christmas crafts too.
