Drill a hole in the bottom of the bucket. The size must not exceed more than two inches because the plants would slip and fall out. Fill up the container with much soil. Plant the tomato plants in a manner where the roots are inside the bucket while the stems are sticking out. Lastly, put some dirt around the roots but make sure it is still loose. Wrap a strip of newspaper around stems which means half of the stems are exposed.
