Equestrian in a common term is Horseback Riding that is a skill of riding, diving, or vaulting with horses . This description incorporates the use of Horse for practical working purposes, recreational activities, artistic and cultural exercises, and competitive sports .

The essentials of Horseback riding lessons is not limited to those who are just starting but is also applicable for experienced riders. We have our own basic gears to begin with Horseback riding Lessons .

We have natural aids and these are our hands, legs and voice, for communication . Artificial aids, these are instruments that riders use in addition to their bodies and voice . But these equipments can influence the horse’s aura, and may injure or terrify it while we are on the progress of learning.

To start off, the person will be educated how to cue your horse or pony to walk discreetly beside you .It may require 10 minutes at the most to have bonding with your horse . For the horse to remain still on the first you will mount on, a help will be appreciated for it to stay in its place. To help you ride from the block, a mounting block would be advantageous . The stirrup length should also accord with your height especially if your horse is tall .

The near side of the horse is the most often used area when mounting but you should be able to climb on from the off side as well. Take your horse out of the stable, it is not recommended to ride your horse in a closed area with low headrooms and doorways .

Sitting correctly on a saddle will be a convenient way for you to take control and protect your horse on horseback riding lessons. A good body alignment including the hands and legs is a good point on horseback riding. To familiarize yourself with the correct position, allow familiarization time for 30 minutes.

Aside from these, you will also be taught by your trainer how to walk and halt during horseback riding lessons, how to direct reign your horse to left and right, to neck reign, sit the trot, canter or lope, keeping your heels downs and to dismount .

During your horseback riding lessons, your trainer will explain everything during your learning process.
