First of all, scabies appear as small, red bumps that resembles mini pimples in different parts of the body. Symptoms of scabies exhibit in as early as two weeks after an infection. What does scabies look like in younger people?

In young children and infants, the manifestations are rashes and blisters in the face, neck, palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Unlike in older people, the scabies symptoms are much different due to the presence of skin burrows.
The itchiness is the body’s reaction towards the mite’s presence. The worse part is that mites are also active at night time which can really be very itchy. This makes it very uncomfortable for infected people since they stay awake just to scratch the itch. People whose immune system are compromised are more prone to scabies.
